Delete your account

• Open Balarnse and tap the menu, then ⚙️ Settings.
• Scroll down and tap “Delete my account”.
• Read what will be deleted, type DELETE and tap “Request deletion”.
• You'll get an email confirming the request. You can tap “Keep my account” any time before the deletion date.

Email privacy@balarnse.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my Balarnse account”. We'll confirm the request and delete your account on the same timeline as in-app requests.

• Your profile and sign-in (email, name, photo, phone).
• Your chats with Buddy, voice notes, call transcripts and Recovery Circles.
• Your journal, CBT records, recovery plan, check-ins, cravings and slip logs, assessments and safety plan.
• Your credits balance (unused credits are not refundable) and notifications.

If you made payments or booked a session, the law requires us to keep those financial records. In that case your account is anonymised instead of removed: the payment record stays, but nothing in it identifies you any more.
